Dermapen® 4 – re-write the story of your skin
If you haven’t heard of Dermapen® 4 and micro-needling, don’t worry. What is Dermapen® 4?
Microneedling is a treatment which harnesses the wound healing responses made by the needle cartridge affixed to a pen-shaped hand held device used by our therapists. Dermapen 4 glides over the skin, vertically piercing it and kick-starting the production of collagen and elastin. As the ‘pen’ moves over your skin using very fast moving needles in a stamping motion, millions of fine fractional channels carry nutrients into it, triggering the natural process of repair and working in a safe and effective way from below the dermis.
Why should I have it?
To minimise signs of ageing including lines and wrinkles, treat pigmentation, acne scarring and other, to promote skin rejuvenation which results in a tighter, brighter more toned complexion with less visible pores. Dermapen® 4 treatments can be effective for a range of conditions such as Rosacea, telangiectasia, seborrheic dermatitis and more.
What areas can be treated?
Pretty much anywhere! We group areas in our treatments to the face, neck, décolleté, stomach and other areas of concern perhaps where scarring or hypopigmentation is an issue. Clients have even enjoyed positive results to stretchmarks, melisma, scarring, acne and so much more.
How does it work?
The actual needling treatment is only around 5 – 10 minutes. Prior to it, we cleanse your skin, and post-needling we apply an ultra-soothing, 3D sculpted mask to promote hydration and healing. Then we apply a bespoke cocktail of skin specific serums to address your specific concerns. SPF is always applied before you leave the salon.
What else can you tell me?
The thought of needles piercing your skin is a little scary, but relax, they are so fine and the advanced technology of Dermapen® 4 so significant, that most find the treatment is not uncomfortable and have no need for topical numbing creams. Your skin may be a little red and we do not advise applying makeup straight away.
Our therapists will provide you with your own personal treatment plan at your consultation. We recommend a course of between 3 – 6 treatments. Treatments are around 2 – 4 weeks apart again depending on what we are treating. You will also be given clear indications of cost, and we can talk you through our payment plans and packages.

Which treatments can I have in combination?
We always suggest to upgrade your Dermapen® 4 treatment with our Uber PRO or Uber MD peel immediately post dermapen to achieve ultimate results.
Which treatments can I not have in the same appointment?
We recommend having your Dermapen 4 treatment separate to any other facial treatments such as Facial Waxing & LED.
